Extremity Of Human Suffering

Lost Tribe Sound Stumbled upon this after listening to a lot of Maha Pralaya's 'Nuclear Kurukshetra' and EOHS made sense instantly. The album is a calculated trainwreck of Middle Eastern rhythms, noise, drone, and the chaotic builds give way to moments of relief every so often. Really satisfying album to keep revisiting. I hope another collab between these two artists will take shape soon. Also brings to mind the works of Lefthanded Sign.

The atmosphere in ‘Extremity Of Human Suffering’, a collaborative album between Devil’s Breath and Palazzo’s Monstrosity Coil, is very intense. Its extent is relatable to the suffering depicted in the concept of the album, which deals with 8 aspects of suffering and reflects on the extreme pain brought about by each one.

The main music genres which emerge are Tribal and Industrial. These are symbols of contrast, symbols of humanity's relationship with the natural world and the modern mechanical / economical world. Ancient humans used to identify themselves with the natural world, and they felt they were part of it. As time went on, the mechanical world, where economy is God, began to emerge. Humanity began to dissasocite itself from the natural world, from its heart, from its roots.

This symbolism is felt in the ‘Extremity Of Human Suffering’, as it is most likely we would have probably have brought upon us less extremity of human suffering, staying true to our roots.
